Well, it looks like I'm getting shipped off to stay with my Nana and Papa for the weekend while my Mommy and Daddy go and celebrate their anniversary without me. I decided to jump the gun this time and do some packing for myself.... Blankies? Check. Pipe? Check. Mom's purse and wallet? Double Check. Now if that pesky Dexter would just get in my backpack I'd be ready to roll.

Mommy thought she was going to get away with boxing up and organizing some of my toys the other day without my consent. So I showed her, and I staged a sit-in. Needless to say, the box is still in the living room waiting for my go-ahead. Hey, wait a minute.... where'd that box go?????? Oooh, that Mommy of mine is good. 

Finally, some weather I can live with! It was such a nice day out, and my Mommy and I had lots of fun. We went to the park, drew on the driveway, and washed some rocks. I made lots of new friends at the park, but Mommy made us leave after I kept trying to steal another little boys big wheel when he wasn't looking. Hey, you snooze, you lose, right?

 

My Mommy would like to send out her most sincere gratitude to my cousin Sammy for teaching me the joys of living life with no pants on. I feel so free!!! I'm still trying to find just the right style though. I really like the high heel and onesie look, but I don't know, I'm not ready to commit to anything just yet...

 

I had soooo much fun helping my Daddy out at the farm yesterday. I got to help him bottle-feed the lambs, give corn to the chickens, and milk the cow. (Actually Mommy didn't let me near the cow, but I gave him some pointers from afar.) I even got to break in my new work boots! Now if I could just figure out a way to get some cookies for that milk I'd be all set....


 

I've started trying to remain hydrated by drinking from Ike-y's waterbowl the way that he does. My Mommy and Daddy think it's disgusting, but I actually find it quite refreshing. Next step... jumping up on and licking our guests in the face when they walk in the door. These crazy dogs have alot they can teach a girl like me! 

So my cousin Roxy came over and spent the night while my Aunt Krista was off galavanting in Chicago (not buying me anything pretty, I might add). We had so much fun together, except for when she kept trying to play with my toys, hold my Baby, or be picked up by my Mommy and Daddy. I tried to teach her the word "Mine", but for some reason I kept getting in trouble for it. Can't my Mommy and Daddy see I'm just trying to expand her vocabulary like any good big cousin would do?
 

I have recently learned that I am going to be kicked out of my crib in the next few months to make room for "Baby", so I thought I'd start trying out some new places to catch a few Zzzzzz's. I give the stairs a C-, as every time I moved I would either fall off or get carpet burn. Guess I'll keep looking...
