Well, it looks like I'm getting shipped off to stay with my Nana and Papa for the weekend while my Mommy and Daddy go and celebrate their anniversary without me. I decided to jump the gun this time and do some packing for myself.... Blankies? Check. Pipe? Check. Mom's purse and wallet? Double Check. Now if that pesky Dexter would just get in my backpack I'd be ready to roll.

Mommy thought she was going to get away with boxing up and organizing some of my toys the other day without my consent. So I showed her, and I staged a sit-in. Needless to say, the box is still in the living room waiting for my go-ahead. Hey, wait a minute.... where'd that box go?????? Oooh, that Mommy of mine is good. Posted by Picasa
Finally, some weather I can live with! It was such a nice day out, and my Mommy and I had lots of fun. We went to the park, drew on the driveway, and washed some rocks. I made lots of new friends at the park, but Mommy made us leave after I kept trying to steal another little boys big wheel when he wasn't looking. Hey, you snooze, you lose, right?

My Mommy would like to send out her most sincere gratitude to my cousin Sammy for teaching me the joys of living life with no pants on. I feel so free!!! I'm still trying to find just the right style though. I really like the high heel and onesie look, but I don't know, I'm not ready to commit to anything just yet...

I had soooo much fun helping my Daddy out at the farm yesterday. I got to help him bottle-feed the lambs, give corn to the chickens, and milk the cow. (Actually Mommy didn't let me near the cow, but I gave him some pointers from afar.) I even got to break in my new work boots! Now if I could just figure out a way to get some cookies for that milk I'd be all set....

I've started trying to remain hydrated by drinking from Ike-y's waterbowl the way that he does. My Mommy and Daddy think it's disgusting, but I actually find it quite refreshing. Next step... jumping up on and licking our guests in the face when they walk in the door. These crazy dogs have alot they can teach a girl like me! Posted by Picasa
So my cousin Roxy came over and spent the night while my Aunt Krista was off galavanting in Chicago (not buying me anything pretty, I might add). We had so much fun together, except for when she kept trying to play with my toys, hold my Baby, or be picked up by my Mommy and Daddy. I tried to teach her the word "Mine", but for some reason I kept getting in trouble for it. Can't my Mommy and Daddy see I'm just trying to expand her vocabulary like any good big cousin would do?

I have recently learned that I am going to be kicked out of my crib in the next few months to make room for "Baby", so I thought I'd start trying out some new places to catch a few Zzzzzz's. I give the stairs a C-, as every time I moved I would either fall off or get carpet burn. Guess I'll keep looking... Posted by Picasa

Much to my Mommy's chagrin, my Daddy is continuing his quest to turn me into the biggest tomboy ever by introducing me to his world of guns. Mommy about had a heart attack when she walked in and saw this, but Daddy assured her that there were no bullets anywhere near me. He taught me how to clean them and put them away and everything. I'm still not sure what they're used for though..... maybe a walking stick of some sort? Posted by Picasa

My Daddy took me sledding the other day. I loved it from the get-go, and never wanted to stop. Eventually though, when my nose and cheeks blended in with the color of my sled my Mommy made us come inside. I guess that's OK though, seeing as the snow just keeps on coming and I should have plenty of time to perfect my triple axel turn around on the moguls I'm having my Daddy make for me.

It has to start getting nice outside soon... my Mommy is running out of new ways to keep me entertained. Posted by Picasa

My Mommy got sick of me coloring my masterpieces all over the walls, the tables, and Ike and Dexter, so she finally set up the easel that my Uncle Ryan and Aunt Heather got me for Christmas. I don't have quite as much room to express myself as I am used to, but I guess all artists must suffer in some way or another in order to bring out their true artistic expression. It also came with a magnet board, which is really fun to play with. Does anyone out there know how to spell "Give me some cookies"?

Hold on, I think I need to sit down for a minute. What do you mean I'm going to be a big sister? I've heard about this whole "baby" thing and I don't think it's all it's cracked up to be. But, I guess if I don't have to give up my crib, share my toys or relinquish my rights to being the center of Mommy and Daddy's universe everything should be okay. I have a couple babies of my own right now and they seem to do just fine tucked away in my toy box until I let them know they can come out and play..... Posted by Picasa

I know, I know, I've got some catching up to do! But this little toddler has been busy, busy, busy. Here is a picture of me with (I mean, inside) my best Christmas present. For some reason my Mommy and Daddy keep telling me it's for my baby, but I think I'm a perfect fit. If I can just cram my left foot over here by my shoulder, tuck my head between my legs, hold onto my right elbow... there! Like a glove.

We spent Christmas this year in Florida with my Nana and Papa. We had so much fun! Daddy said he thinks I'm a bit spoiled because I've had my toes in both the Pacific and the Atlantic Ocean before I turned two, but wait until he sees what me and my Mommy have planned for next year! Rumor has it that the south of France has some really beautiful beaches....

My most favorite thing to do was swim in my very own swimming pool where none of those loud, splashy people could come in. (Oh wait, that's me.)
I never wanted to get out, and even could trick my Nana into feeding me my lunch in there. This is what I call a full-service resort!

All in all not a bad trip! But something tells me I might need a little vacation after my vacation, I'm exhausted. Posted by Picasa
