So I'm really not thrilled with this whole cold weather thing. First my Mommy and Daddy put away my swimming pool, and now they trap me in this horrible, puffy, atrocity of outerwear. I can hardly move, and therefore am having trouble keeping up my quota of messes that I am required to make every day. It's a good thing Michigan winters only last a week or two. Posted by Picasa
Mommy, don't you be looking at me like that. I warned you what would happen if you left me alone. And I didn't technically do anything wrong, you only told me to leave the toilet paper on the roll. If you look closely, you will see that it's still nicely rolled up. I think that an apology, and maybe a piece of candy, might be in order.

I went and stayed overnight at my Grandma Alberda's house and she introduced me to the fine art of horseback riding. I'm not sure, but I think I might be a natural. Would you check out this form? Grandma, for Christmas this year maybe you should get me a nice pair of riding chaps... Posted by Picasa

What? Like you've never had a bad hair day? I'll have you know it took me the better part of my nap to get this mop styled to perfection. My guess is that we'll be seeing this look in all the fashion magazines relatively soon. Posted by Picasa
Oops, busted! This really isn't my fault though. My mommy should know by now that I can't be left alone unsupervised for even a second. What does she think I am? Two?

History has been made! My puppy Dexter actually wanted to play with me today! Granted I did have his ball and as soon as I dropped it he took it and vanished, but we had about 15 seconds of good quality bonding time. I'm going to call it progress. Posted by Picasa
I went and spent the day at my Aunt Kimmie's while my Mommy was at work. I had my cousin Crista do my hair while my other cousin Anna fed me breakfast. This is what I call service! Now where's that juice refill I ordered? Posted by Picasa
I thought I'd be a big girl and bring Mommy a diaper so she could change me. But what she didn't realize is that I needed just the right one, and it took me a few tries to find it.

Well here we are! My big day at the hospital begins. I may look a little worried in this picture, but actually I'm just checking out a little baby being wheeled down the hall in a hospital bed on her way into surgery. Boy, I'm sure glad that's not going to be me! I think I'm just here to test out their new playroom. Right, Mommy? Right!?! I thought so. Posted by Picasa
I loved my surgery smock. It had really cool tigers all over it! I'm pretty sure Mommy might have tried to smuggle it home for a souvenir, but those hospital people are quick! And here I thought no one could outsmart my Mommy..... Posted by Picasa
I was thinking I might find some spare goldfish crackers or fruit snacks in here to tide me over, but the cupboards were bare. I guess Mother Hubbard used to live here before today. Posted by Picasa
Here is what my cool incision looks like! Mommy was afraid they were going to shave my hair off in that area, but they left it all on. (I was actually hoping for a mohawk.) Posted by Picasa
