Missing: One Puppy.

OK, I'm not sure what's going on here, but I'm slowing putting together some pieces. My puppy Dexter has had some issues the past few months with biting me in the face. While I get over this pretty quickly and am ready to play with him again quite soon afterwards, my Mommy and Daddy seemed a little more concerned. I had heard talk of him finding a new home, and a woman and her husband have been over here a few times in the last couple weeks to take him on some field trips, but yesterday I took my nap, woke up, went to find my puppy, and he was nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, my Mommy seems very sad and her eyes are all red. No one is telling me anything except that Dexter went "Bye-bye", so if anyone out there knows where I can find him please let me know. I have a new dress that I am all set to try out on him, and some broccoli I don't want to eat.

My friend Sophie has been coming over alot lately to play while her Daddy helps my Daddy build me new room. We've been teaching each other alot of tricks. Sophie taught me how to jump really high, how to run really fast from the front of the house to the back of the house, and the correct way to pour tea from a teapot. (Note to self: Tea goes in cups, not on floor.) In turn, I taught her that everything in my house is Mine, and that sharing is not for everybody. I don't think Mommy was too thrilled with my lesson plan.

We have some new neighbors! One of our existing neighbors expressed interest in housing a couple of Daddy's sheep in their newly fenced-in pasture a couple of doors down, and it took Daddy about all of three seconds to load up a couple ewes from Grandpa's house, bring them over to my neighborhood, and get them settled in. I can now go see them whenever I want! They're still a little skitterish, but I think they're just holding out for some of my "Welcome to the Neighborhood" brownies, made with fresh grass and corn. Welcome to the "Heights" Sheep-friends!

It was Tulip Time once again! You know, that time of year where Mommy and Daddy think it's great fun to dress me up in some crazy costume and take me to the park where they don't even let me pick the pretty flowers. And can anyone tell me what a "Fatball" is? Mommy says this is what she feels like most of the time now, but to me it looked like some sort of yummy treat. And I love yummy treats.

Congratulations Daddy! It looks like you caught yourself a turkey! I think it's asleep though, it doesn't seem to be moving much.

Field trip, field trip, we're going on a field trip! Actually, we just got back from one. My Mommy, Aunt Krista, Roxy and I all pretended that we were tourists and decided to take in some Tulip Time sites. We started out in the big metropolis of Zeeland getting a yummy cinnamon roll, and ended up buying Roxy and I our very first pair of wooden shoes at the tulip farm. Umm, is it just me or do those shoes seem a little uncomfortable? Of course, they will come in handy for my new favorite activity of ant-squishing!

My dog Ike had to go the vet today for x-rays because he's been limping really badly lately. I've noticed that this often coincides with the times I pretend that he's my pony. Hmmmm.... I can't imagine that one thing would have anything to do with the other, would it?
