Here I am trying to teach Eliza how to play Patty Cake. (At least that's what I told my Mom. Actually I'm trying to pull her out of this seat so I can sit in it myself. What does a baby need with a massage chair that plays soothing music? This is a chair designed for very busy toddlers with very achy muscles from pulling their baby sisters out of their very comfy seats.)

My Mommy thinks this picture is pretty ironic given my complete and absolute total fear of penguins. (Don't ask... you would be scared too if you were at church one Sunday, minding your own business, and out of nowhere a six foot penguin descended upon you and tried to give you candy.... I mean, kidnap you and drag you off to it's lair.) Mommy and Daddy keep trying to tell me that penguins are nice, but they can't fool me. Those things are creepy, waddling around on those short little legs. It just ain't right.

I'm really starting to get the hang of this "Big Sister" idea. Mommy and Daddy keep telling me that I'm a really good helper, and last night I showed off my skills by assisting Daddy in giving Eliza a bath (although you can hardly call it a bath, there was no rubber ducky or bubbles in sight). After we got done, Mommy gave me a "I'm a Good Big Sister" present, a My Little Pony lunchbox! I'm supposed to keep my Ponies inside, but I'm leaning more towards using it as a lockbox for my fruit treats and cookies. Being a good big sister only goes so far.

Well, here she is! This is my new baby sister, Eliza. I finally got to meet her last week, she sure is tiny! Things have been a bit different around here since then. No one told me she was going to be moving in! But it hasn't been too bad, and I even sometimes offer to hold her and burp her and give her kisses. (My Mommy seems surprised by this for some reason.) I've also been able to spend alot of time with my Daddy and my grandma's and grandpa's, and I think I've pretty much got them eating out of my hand. I especially love it when I get to help out at the farm. The tomatoes this time of year are mmm, mmm good!!!

Mommy has just been patiently waiting to go to the hospital to get me my new brother or sister, and she's getting a little bored, which means that the camera starts showing up more and more often wherever I go. These pictures were taken yesterday and this morning. This baby has to come soon, I'm starting to see permanent flash spots.

My Mommy said that last night felt like a total flashback to before I was born, with Daddy putting the finishing touches on my new room just one day before I was supposed to arrive. Here he is putting up some new curtains on my windows while I'm being a big helper and building him a tower. I like this idea of every time we have an addition to the family I get a new room! Next time I'm going to shoot for a whole suite, or maybe even a wing....

My Nana took my Aunt Krista, my cousins Roxy and Chloe, and my Mommy and I out for a doughnut this morning. It's my Mommy's due date today, and she was hoping that a good old-fashioned maple-glazed cinnamon roll with a side of chocolate milk might trigger something, but nothing yet! Which is fine with me, if I get to have a sprinkled doughnut every morning she can stay pregnant forever as far as I'm concerned! I'm not sure she thinks that's such a great idea though.
