Cousins, cousins everywhere! I am so lucky to be surrounded by all my built-in playmates. My cousins Elliot and Olivia came over and hung out with me the other night while my Uncle Ryan and Aunt Heather went to a dinner at church. My Mommy had Bible Study, so my Daddy got to take care of us all by himself! He seemed to be a bit overwhelmed at first, seeing as two of us are potty-training and come dinnertime we all wanted to eat something different, but he managed well. And after dinner he didn't even mind playing "Tea Party" with me and Olivia while simultaneously watching a hunting video with Elliot. My Daddy's so talented!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day in the neighborhood....

What a great weekend!!! It was so nice outside yesterday and today, I almost ran out of time to fit everything in that I wanted to do! I got to ride my bike, take my stoller for a walk, and my Mommy took me and Roxy for a nice long trek around the block in my wagon. She got some very strange looks from people, what with having a two-year old and a one-year old in the wagon and then being pregnant beside, but we didn't care. We were actually too busy trying to keep Roxy from climbing over the edge to take too much notice. And I thought I was quick, that girl must have some monkey genes in her! (Sorry Aunt Krista, but I call them as I see them.)

My Grandma Alberda gave me the coolest new chair for summer. It fits me perfectly! Now I just need to learn a couple stanza's of "Kum-Ba-Ya" and how to make a good ol' gooey S'more and I'll be all set to hit the Great Outdoors. Thank you Grandma!

I decided to host a tea party, and word must have spread about the delightfulness of my tea and crumpets, because what started out as tea for one turned into tea for two, and the next thing I knew I was serving up the whole neighborhood! I should write down the recipe for my special brew so I don't forget it..... Anyone out there know how to spell the word "air"? (Ayr? Aire? Arrr?)

Hey Everybody! Check out my new Big Girl Underwear! I decided last night that it was time I learned how to use the potty all by myself, and so I told my Mommy I had to go, and wallah, I went! I've had a few accidents since then, but I have also used the potty nine times all on my own. Of course, Mommy knows the way to my heart is through a bowl full of M&M's, which is parked on the back of the toilet, so that helps. We'll see what happens, maybe I won't need to wear those bulky diapers anymore!

Well, my Mommy got diagnosed with tonsillitis and bronchitis today at the doctor's office, so I guess it's up to me to get some spring cleaning done. What did she ever do without me? Posted by Picasa
Oh, the crazyness of Easter! First my Mommy wouldn't even let me play with my new finger paint because she was afraid I would mess up my new dress (doesn't she know how very careful I am to always stay inside the lines?). Then I got to go to my Grandma's house for dinner where I decided not to eat any food except for Easter chocolate from my Aunt Jo. I also fed my cousin Sammy's baby her dinner because Sammy was off sneaking an extra candy bar from her Easter basket. (Don't worry Sammy, I won't tell!) After that it was off to the big Easter egg hunt at my Aunt Cyndy's house, where I managed to find a few of the eggs all by myself, which shocked even me because being the youngest Egg Hunter in the group I was a little nervous going in. But I learned early on it's not about being the quickest. You just need to strategize, think on your feet, and when all else fails make everyone think that you're not being treated fairly, and then they'll seal off an area all for you. :)

Breakfast is so much more enjoyable when it is shared with friends, don't you agree? Bon appetit! Posted by Picasa
